The V.gis Closed Captioning is designed to encode the dialogue & sound effects of most programs or videos into text form that can be read on the screen, like subtitles on foreign films.

The Closed Captioning feature can be selected from the MAIN MENU.

More than 80% of all television and video productions are captioned in the United States. For the presence of (CC) Closed Captioning in programs, check with you local service provider for this feature.

What is V-GIS? The V-gis brand name is licensed and trademarked by Tri-Vision Electronics Inc. The V-gis brand originates from the V-Chip device. The V-Chip is a process, which can decipher broadcast signals containing rating and allow the user to program the V-gis Decoder to block or View rated programs.

Easy to set up. It works 24 hours a day on any channel. Closed Captioning is set up via remote control. Captioning is in white letters on a black background.

Can be programmed to block out specific show content like language, sexual situations, violence and dialogue. For unrestricted use, simply punch in the four-digit PIN number on remote control.
