Overview
ScanBuddy™ uses a new approach to full screen scanning that lets you quickly and easily position the mouse using one switch (single or inverse single-switch scanning), two switches (dual switch scanning), or keys on your computer keyboard. Then, you can choose from a variety of mouse button and other options. Use it alone, with REACH Interface Author™, or with SoothSayer Word Prediction™. ScanBuddy™ is full of features that can increase your scanning speed and accuracy:

• ScanBuddy™ lets you use one or two switches to perform most mouse operations.
• Use ScanBuddy™ alone or with REACH with Smart Keys (scanning control is passed seamlessly between REACH 2.5.2 and ScanBuddy™).
• Select from Single Switch, Dual Switch, or Inverse Single Switch Scanning.
• Use keys on your keyboard, a mouse switch, a joystick switch, or any switch that emulates a mouse switch as your input switch for scanning.
• Select from several scanning strategies; use standard line scanning or first use section scanning to identify the general area of the display where the target point is located and then use line scanning to precisely position the mouse.
• Once you have selected the location, choose from several button options including click, double click, drag, left or right mouse button, scroll down or up, pulse click, cancel, launch a favorite application, Shift+, Control+, or show ScanBuddy™ settings.
• Adjust time settings for section and line scanning (acceleration option also available).
• Use the "Unwind" option if you are moving to a nearby location.
• Use the "Scan Active Window First" and "AutoClick" options to save time.
• Lots of sound options for auditory feedback.
