Electronic devices that are used to “display” text that a computer “sends” to the monitor. The device is connected to the computer and “intercepts” this text to produce Braille output on the device’s Braille display. Refreshable Braille displays only read one line of text at a time thus needing to be “refreshed” for another line of text to be displayed to be read. Each cell contains the eight small pins necessary to represent a letter/word in Braille.
