The ClearSounds CSC50-ER Telephone is an emergency connect and amplified telephone all in one.

How Does The ClearSounds® CSC50-ER Work?
The CSC50-ER has three components: a small remote band transmitter (a help button worn by the user); the CSC50-ER telephone (connected into the user's telephone line) and up to 6 emergency connect telephone numbers (family, friends or neighbors) that monitor calls.

After setting the emergency connect numbers and your message, to summon help in case of an emergency, you press the remote band's emergency button from anywhere in your house up to 80 feet away. It sends a radio signal to the CSC50-ER Telephone. The CSC50-ER Telephone automatically dials one or more pre-programmed emergency telephone numbers. If there is no response on 30 seconds or if the line is busy, the phone will dial the second number.

If someone on the other end lifts the handset, the phone will play the emergency message you recorded to ask for help. The person is required to press one of the keypad keys (0-9) to confirm that the emergency message has been received and to deactivate the CSC50-ER from dialing the next number. Next, the CSC50-ER Telephone will automatically turn ON the speakerphone allowing the person to speak & listen to the emergency user. The person will try to determine the nature of the emergency.

The Remote Band Transmitter is a lightweight, battery-powered devices that is activated by pressing one button. It is worn on a wristband and is not water resistant. Since the transmitter is battery-powered, the batteries must be checked periodically to ensure they work. There is an indicator to help you know when to change batteries.

The CSC50-ER acts as an automatic dialing machine and sends the emergency alert through the phone lines. It works with any private telephone line and generally does not require rewiring. It is also a powerful amplified telephone with all the convenient features for everyday use. It increases the incoming sound up to 50 dB so that you can hear every word loud and clear.
