You Only Need One Unit As It
Fits BOTH Hands!
The main FLEXTEND® / RESTORE™ unit address
conditions from fingertip to elbow, including Carpal Tunnel Syndrome,
Trigger Finger, Tennis Elbow and Grip-Strength.
How FLEXTEND® Works:
FLEXTEND® provides stretching of the flexor muscles (which close the hand) and
strengthening of the extensor muscles (which open the hand). The FLEXTEND®
exercise system is designed to create muscle balance to the entire lower arm,
releasing impingements and allowing normal vascularity to return. NOTE: It has
been widely documented that this type of muscle balancing exercise is extremely
healthy and necessary for full recovery of most injuries. Inquire with your
doctor about muscle balance therapy with FLEXTEND®.
Who Should Use FLEXTEND®:
FLEXTEND® is used for cases ranging from mild to severe, and treats most all
injuries of the fingers, hand, wrist, forearm and elbow. FLEXTEND® is utilized
for greater dexterity, coordination and grip strength, and is recognized as a
reliable tool for injury prevention. Those who have used the program for
post-operative therapy, report being able to return to work with full levels of
strength and mobility in about half the time normally associated with surgical
release of the transverse carpal ligament. For faster results, suggest to your
post-operative therapist the FLEXTEND® system as part of your recovery program.
FLEXTEND® has been successfully used for, but is not limited to:
• Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
• Trigger Finger
• Guyon's Syndrome
• Cubital Tunnel Syndrome
• DeQuervain's Syndrome
• Osteoarthritis
• Tendonitis
• Repetitive Strain Injuries
• Sprains & Strains
• Medial Epicondylitis
• Lateral Epicondylitis
• Performance Enhancement
• Dupuytren's Contracture
What To Expect:
Most all users will notice a change in their condition by the end of the 2nd
week on the FLEXTEND® program. FLEXTEND® is a 12-week exercise program requiring
8 – 15 minutes of your time and full compliancy if you desire full relief of
your symptoms. For people with occupations / hobbies that are recognized as
“high risk of injury”, a weekly maintenance program with FLEXTEND® is
recommended. NOTE: Patients suffering from Trigger Finger may not see results of
the affected digit for up to 3-5 weeks depending on the severity of the case.
FLEXTEND® does not provide full recovery of Dupuytren’s Contractor, but in most
cases, symptoms are relieved enough to avoid surgery and make everyday function
possible. To keep progression of Dupuytren’s Contractor under control, you will
be required to follow a strict maintenance program.
