Electronic Notetakers
Electronic notetakers are portable devices that are used to input and output information in formats such as refreshable Braille and/or crisp synthesized speech. Electronic notetakers such as the Braille Sense are basically specially designed PDA devices for the blind and visually impaired. Most notetakers will give you the ability to take notes, read e-mail, create calendars and more. Many are equipped with GPS making it easy for someone to receive directions and find where they are.
