We all want to look our best. Some people, however, need help with the basics—brushing teeth, combing hair, washing face. Others have these mastered, but require assistance with more complex tasks, like doing laundry and applying makeup. Personal Success CD-ROM is a multimedia program targeting essential activities for personal care—both simple and challenging. Addresses 53 activities step-by-step, each with additional tips covering safety and convenience issues. Activities are organized into six topics: Personal care for women, personal care for men, personal care for everyone, dressing for success (women), dressing for success (men) and clothing care. Instructors can block out topic areas as needed.
Students review frequently performed activities at the computer. The instructor can easily organize them to reflect a naturally occurring sequence—washing hands, brushing teeth, flossing, mouthwash. Use printouts to rehearse complete activities in the classroom, emphasize specific steps and as picture cues at the actual location, like bathroom or bedroom.
