Several new features and enhancements are available when you upgrade J-Say Pro from version 5 to 6. This new update is compatible with the latest releases of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, JAWS and Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional.
New Features in J-Say Pro 8.0- New Configuration Wizard - allows users to manipulate many of the special functions within the product. All options can be manupulated using voice input, keyboard or computer mouse.
- Back-up and Restore Utilities - users now have the option to back-up or restore speech files either from the local hard disk, USB storage device or network drive.
- The "My Words" facility stores unfamiliar terminology.
- Tool to learn the phonetic alphabet can be launched from the new configuration wizard.
- Braille Mode - available to people using a JAWS compatible Braille display.
- Microsoft Office 2007 Ribbon Bar - gain excellent context sensitive help as you navigate the "Ribbon Bar" in Office 2007 applications. For example, when you focus on a button labelled "Copy", J-Say can advise you that this button is used to copy items or text to the clipboard.
- Microsoft Outlook 2007 Calendar Support - create appointments and all day events with voice commands.
- Playback Within the Correction Box - if the Dragon NaturallySpeaking software has not understood the word or phrase, you can listen back to the way the word or phrase was pronounced and make any necessary corrections.
- Automatic Installation of J-Say Authorisation File - installation process is extremely unintrusive and no longer requires a separate CD.
*If you are upgrading from version 5 or 6, you may also need to make sure that JAWS and Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional are up-to-date.
