This award-winning series will help students build vocabulary, strengthen language comprehension, discover word relationships, and develop important concepts. The Words and Concepts Series integrates language and concept training in a unique way.

Each program uses a core vocabulary of 40 nouns in six related language activities: Vocabulary, Categorization, Word Identification by Function, Word Association, and the Concepts of Same and Different.

This series can be used with non-readers, but there is also a text option for beginning readers.


Suggested for:
  • Children and adults with language-learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, physical impairments, visual impairments, hearing impairments, and autism

The user decides which noun "goes with" another noun ("Which one goes with bird?").

Concept - Same/Alike
The user compares three pictures and selects the ones that are alike.

Concept - Different
The user compares three pictures and chooses the one that is different.
