A user-friendly way to provide systematic language instruction, allowing students who are verbal but have a language delay or more complex communication disorder to expand their language.
Cards target a single action with many nouns. Each action is depicted in a variety of ways on several cards to help students generalize their language skills. One side of the card contains the picture and the other side contains guiding text, which helps strengthen student’s understanding and use of language following a systematic scope and sequence.
Variations portrayed in the cards allow the learner to build a variety of phrases with the same action (i.e. eating pizza, eating apple, eating cake.) Use these cards to work on labeling nouns and actions, to build action sentences for a specific verb, pairing it with different pronouns and nouns, or to work on phrase and sentence construction. There are multiple uses for developing both receptive and expression language as well as grammatical forms.
Each card features a full color photograph with a consistent orientation. Set includes several examples of the following actions: blowing, brushing, building carrying, drinking, eating, feeding, hugging, kissing, opening, playing, pouring, putting on, riding, and washing. Set of 100, 4” x 6” cards in a sturdy storage box with index dividers to help keep cards organized.
